FREE BEER! There's no catch, really. The Great Chicago Fire Brewery & Tap Room, Leesburg Florida and Central Nowhere Homebrewer's Guild are hosting our annual homebrew competition! Entry is free and there are free samples. Come vote for for your favorite! May 18th from 4 PM until 8 PM
All entrants must supply at least 24 oz of beer for the judges' tasting. Any beer submitted may also be entered into the "People's Choice" contest! If you submit for The People's Choice, remember to bring at least 2.5 gallons (expect to run out) THERE IS NO FEE TO ENTER!
**Homebrew Categories**
---Beer in this category may fall under any BJCP IPA category. Please specify which category you have chosen when entering this beer for competition. The winner will be awarded a custom tap handle trophy.

Summer Quencher
--- This category strives for crisp refreshment above all else. Example entries may be from BJCP 18a, 18b, 10a, 1c, 27a among many others. Please specify the beer you are entering in this category, and note the style you have chosen. The winner will be awarded a custom tap handle trophy.

--- Browns, Porters, and Stouts go here! Please limit entries to BJCP categories 19c, 20a, and 20b. The winner will be awarded a custom tap handle trophy.

---"Best of Brew" will be determined by best overall score of a beer from all categories.

The People's Choice
--- The winner of this category will be selected by those attending the event rather than our judges. The winner will be awarded a trophy as well as a hands-on brew session at the Great Chicago Fire Brewery, to be sold on-site once complete. Proceeds from the resulting beer will go to a charity of the winner's choice.

** Number of Contest Entrants**
As there is limited space at GCF, the number of entries per category must be limited to 20.

Contest Sign-ups Begin!

Participants in the Leesburg, Lady Lake, The Villages, Eustis, Tavares, and Mount Dora areas will be given two weeks lead-time to sign up, after which time two additional weeks signup time will be available to anyone in the Central Florida area.
